UNS N06025 (Alloy 602 CA) represents one of the most technologically advanced heat-resistant nickel alloys available. By incorporating high chromium along with critical aluminum and micro-alloying additions (titanium, zirconium, and rare earth yttrium), this alloy delivers exceptional resistance to oxidation, carburization, and metal dusting.
Unlike conventional high-temperature alloys, UNS N06025 forms an protective aluminum oxide (Al2O3) layer beneath the outer chromium oxide surface, allowing components to survive extreme cyclic heating and aggressive gaseous environments.
